The YC-range has a long history and was already around back when Yamaha still produced their famed bright-red combo-organs. That said, the YC73 stage keyboard offers way more than organ sounds and comes loaded with various, Yamaha-made acoustic uprights, including the DX7 which has been used in nearly every ballad released since its introduction back in 1983. When it comes to playing feel, the versatile 73-note keyboard sits somewhere between weighted and waterfall-style keys and even allows you to pull off slides.

The Finishing Touch

Last but not least, Yamaha have equipped with this keyboard with a solid collection of effects. First off there's reverb, which is not only great for the pianos and pads, but goes well with vintage organs. On top of that, you're provided with a rotary effect, speaker/amp, a 3-band master EQ with adjustable mid-range, and a looper so you can set your creativity free. Also, don't worry about the polyphony, Yamaha have made sure that note-stealing practically never happens.
